We provide planning and heritage advice to private, professional and public clients, including a range of historic building reports, such as Heritage Impact Statements, to support applications for planning and listed building consent. We design sensitive extensions, conversions and alterations to listed and historic structures using low carbon materials, like-for-like repairs, and traditional materials. Through archival research we help clients to increase their understanding of art as well as structures, helping to inform their conservation, appreciation and enjoyment.

To understand and articulate the significance of a heritage asset and the impact of any proposed changes, we carefully record its present structure and setting, and diligently research its past to reveal historical cause behind material effect.
Our approach to historic building recording and reporting and heritage assessments is practical as well as academic, creating a foundation to guide conservation interventions and identify future potential.
